Hinged Doors & Windows
The classic opening system: a leaf on hinges that closes onto continuous seals. Simple, serviceable and still the tightest way to close a small-to-medium opening.
Opening Systems That Suit the Room
Different rooms want different openings. These are the configurations we build most.
Casement Windows
A single hinged leaf opening outward or inward. The most common window in Cyprus and the easiest to seal and service.
Tilt & Turn
One handle, two actions: tilt the leaf at the top for background ventilation, or swing it fully open for cleaning and escape.
Double Sash
Two hinged leaves meeting at a central mullion or on a slim closing post, for wider openings without a fixed pane.
Balcony Doors
Full-height hinged doors onto balconies and verandas, with a low threshold option where step-free access matters.
Windows with Fixed Panes
An opening leaf beside one or more fixed lights, so you get the daylight of a large opening and only pay to make part of it open.
Non-Standard Shapes
Arched, round and triangular openings, made to a template taken on site rather than forced into a rectangle.
Why Hinged Systems Still Win
For most openings, a hinged leaf outperforms every alternative on sealing and cost.
The Tightest Closure
A hinged leaf compresses its gaskets on all four sides when you turn the handle. No sliding system seals as completely, which matters in wind-driven winter rain.
Thermal Break Profiles
A polyamide barrier through the frame stops aluminium conducting heat straight through the wall. Combined with double glazing it keeps summer heat outside.
Multi-Point Locking
Locking points engage around the perimeter rather than at the handle alone, so the leaf cannot be levered away from the frame at a corner.
Easy to Service
Hinges adjust in three axes with a hex key. A window that has dropped over ten years can be brought back into alignment in minutes, not replaced.
Measured, Made and Fitted by Us
Every frame is cut to the surveyed opening. We do not order stock sizes and pack out the difference with foam — that is what causes the draughts and sticking leaves people blame on the window itself.
Glass, gaskets and hardware are specified together for the exposure of each elevation, so a window facing the afternoon sun is not built the same way as one in permanent shade.
- Thermal break aluminium or multi-chamber uPVC
